2ND GRADE VISITED THE NATURAL SCIENCE MUSEUM!!

2nd grade students visited the Natural Science Museum before Easter holidays!
The visit had two parts: a visit to the museum and a workshop titled "moving like an animal".
During the visit we could see dried out animals like birds, bears, sea animals, huge elephants and mammuts, fossils, reptiles, insects,  minerals and even huge dinosaurs! It was AMAZING!
In the workshop we participated in activities moving and dressed like animals as you can see in the pictures below. We really enjoyed the visit!

Jorge and his hamster!

Jorge brought his pet, a hamster, to school. He told us about his nutrition and diet, how many hours it sleeps, how it plays... It was very interesting to learn about mammals with this alive example!  Thanks Jorge!

GROWING PLANTS!

Today, the students of 3rd Primary have started growing plants in hotbeds: beans and thyme. As the weather is so cold we have to wait some weeks to start in the school´s garden.
